$25,000 CBA Planning Grant + Grant Design Sprint
This opportunity is for the organization needing more time to determine the source of their matching funds and design clergy wellness grant programming. The organization commits to using a portion of these funds to send 2-3 representatives to a Grant Design Sprint, February 24-26, 2027 to help them design context-specific clergy wellness programming. Organizations can apply for a Full Scale Denominational Grant and/or a Be Still and Know Grant.

Timeline for organizations who receive a planning grant to apply for a Full Scale Denominational Grant or a Be Still and Know grant:
- August 2027: Applications Due
- January 2028: Grant funds transfered to organizations with funded proposals
There is not a matching component to a planning grant. A Planning Grant report is due when you submit your Full Scale Denominational Grant and/or Be Still and Know Grant.

Please include an approximate breakdown of funds and a brief narrative explanation. Example: $5,000 travel for 2 staff to visit 2 organizations with effective wellness programs to discern best practices and funding opportunities; $10,000 for fundraising consultants to design matching strategy; $5,000 for stipends to compensate 25 clergy for participating in a focus group.
