  • PLEASE READ ALL ENTRY RULES

    BEFORE SUBMITTING THE FORM

  • 1. The Show will take place on Saturday 21st November 2026 and is open to all ages. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to participate. We will confirm the parent or guardian's consent. The winner will be awarded the Fishguard's Got Talent trophy for the year. The trophy will need to be returned to the theatre in time to publicise for the following year's FGT Talent Show.

  • 2. Talents may include (but not limited to) singing, dancing, comedy, instrumental music, skits and magic.
  • 3. We will allow participants to compete as a solo act and part of a group performance, if they wish. Application forms must be completed separately.
  • 4. Self-tapes must be submitted separately via email to boxoffice@theatrgwaun.com. Please ensure your name and contact number is included in the email.

  • 5. Your self-tape's performance can be a different song, dance, set of jokes etc. from that performed in the FGT Show.
  • 6. Your Act must NOT be longer than 8 minutes.
  • 7. Performers who require a backing track must provide their own, in MP3 format.
  • 8. Participants must provide their own drum kit, keyboard and sound system. Only guitars, basses and breakables can be switched out (Anything unlisted can be discussed).
  • 9. A pre-show rehearsal will take place on Saturday 14th November 2026 and you will be allocated a time slot in advance.

  • 10. We ask that you keep your performance and costumes 'family friendly' and respectful as this is a community talent show.

  • Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded

    Judges' decisions are final

  • Self-Tape Guidance

  • 1. Provide a short intro with your name(s) and talent.
  • 2. Make sure your audio and video quality are good. Test before filming.
  • 3. Avoid filming with a busy or loud background. We understand environment interruptions may happen (sirens, car horns etc) please don't sacrifice a good take if this happens.
  • 4. We understand nerves, please don't let nerves put you off auditioning.
  • 5. Have fun and enjoy the experience.

  • I give permission for myself/child to be filmed/photographed for these purposes
  • I give permission for my own/my child's self-tape to be used for these purposes

  • Parental/Guardian consent

  • I give permission for my child (Under 18) to participate in this event. I am responsible for my child's care during the rehearsal and performance
