Kick’n Country Parade Volunteer Disclaimer and Acknowledgement
By signing up as a volunteer for the Kick’n Country Parade, I acknowledge that I am participating on a voluntary basis and agree to follow all instructions, safety guidelines, and directions provided by the Camrose & District Chamber of Commerce, parade organizers, event staff, and designated officials.
I understand that volunteering for the Kick’n Country Parade may involve outdoor conditions, walking, standing for extended periods, assisting with parade line-up, directing participants, supporting crowd flow, working near vehicles, floats, animals, equipment, and other parade-related activities.
I acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with volunteering at a public parade, including but not limited to uneven surfaces, moving vehicles or floats, weather conditions, large crowds, and general event activity. I agree to take reasonable care for my own safety and the safety of others while volunteering.
I understand that volunteers are expected to arrive on time, remain at their assigned location unless otherwise directed, and conduct themselves in a respectful, professional, and safe manner. I agree to follow all instructions from parade organizers and understand that failure to do so may result in being removed from my volunteer role.
I confirm that I am physically able to perform the volunteer duties assigned to me and will notify the Chamber in advance of any limitations, concerns, or accommodations that may affect my ability to safely participate.
I consent to being contacted by the Camrose & District Chamber of Commerce regarding Kick’n Country Parade volunteer scheduling, role assignments, safety instructions, and event updates.
