  • ATTENTION: TEAM FORMAT HAS CHANGED

To accommodate for all abilities and fairness in scoring, the team format has changed. This new format allows for mixed teams without the added pressure of choosing a difficulty division and worrying about weighted scores.

Teams will have an objective of climbing As Many Unique Problems as Possible. No repeats! V-grades do not count for points here.

Within teams, individuals also have the option to participate in the Individual Category. Individuals will be scored on difficulty of climbs, same as previous Boulderthons.

If you would like to participate in the Team AND Individual competition, select both boxes and fill out additional information as necessary. ALL team members must register separately.

  • Are you participating as an Individual, Team, or both? (select all that apply)*
  • Choose your Individual competition category (this is a guideline, if you would like to change your category after submitting, please notify via email)*
  • Do you plan on camping, staying in a hotel, or day-tripping to Duluth? (This is for logistics planning, no personal information will be shared)*

  • Honesty Agreement

As a competitor in the Boulderthon outdoor bouldering competition, I agree to be truthful and fair in the documentation of my ascents. I agree to have at least one participating competitor sign off on all ascents. I agree to sign off on other competitors' ascents truthfully. I agree to report any suspected false ascents.
