Art on Welland Bell Boxes 2026 • Call for Artists

Art on Welland Bell Boxes sponsored by the City of Welland
This year’s theme is Roses, celebrating Welland’s identity as the Rose City and bringing more public art into our neighbourhoods.

Selected artists will be painting Bell utility boxes in Welland. Artists must be available to complete their assigned Bell Box between August 23 and September 5, 2026.

Artists must:
- Live in Welland
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have previous painting experience
- Be comfortable creating artwork in a public/outdoor setting
- Be able to complete the artwork during the required project window
- Provide their own supplies, brushes, paint (outdoor latex only permitted).
