This fund is open to all filmmakers and we encourage first-time filmmakers to apply. However, if you've made any films before, please add links below.
Terms and Conditions

1. This grant is only open to filmmakers based in the Northeast of England.

2. This grant is open to individual filmmakers or filmmaking collectives.

3.1. The selected filmmaker or collective will receive £500 in cash via bank transfer by Milk Teeth Productions, £500 worth of kit hire by ProVision in Leeds, 1 day of audio dubbing and 1 day of colour grading at Sticks and Glass in Leeds and 1:1 online mentoring by Jo Schofield, Senior Talent Executive at Screen Yorkshire.

3.2. Prizes provided by ProVision, Sticks & Glass and Screen Yorkshire must be redeemed before the completion date (30th April 2027). Please note that they are busy companies and any arrangements must be made in advance. Kit provided by ProVision is subject to availability and must be hired for one duration. The mentoring sessions by Screen Yorkshire depend on everyone's availability.

4. The selected filmmaker or collective must have their own Public Liability Insurance for production.

5. We only consider projects that are in the development stage (anywhere from having an idea to pre-production) but not in production. Production needs to begin after the decision date.

6. The film needs to be finished by 30th April 2027.

7. The fund is to support and supplement your costs of the film. There are no restrictions on how you use the cash prize as long as it goes towards helping the completion of the film.

8. Logos of funders and supporters must be included in the final film. A logo pack and marketing information will be sent.

9. Milk Teeth Productions is not liable or responsible for any loss or damage before, during or after the shoot.

10. Milk Teeth Productions will not be working as a producer but will take on an advisory role during the project to support delivery of the film.

11. Milk Teeth Productions will offer support by providing four check-in sessions. These sessions depend on everyone’s availability and may happen in person or video call.

12. We reserve the right to attend the shoot if available and required.

13. The deadline for applications is 14th August. Any applications submitted after this date will not be considered.
