We are thrilled to have you join us for this volunteer event! Together, you'll help clean and repair gently used children's books, giving them a second life and helping promote literacy throughout our community.
As a special thank-you for participating, everyone who donates a children's book will have the opportunity to choose a book from our wide selection of fiction and nonfiction titles to add to their own home library.
Activity Information
Type of Activity: Community Book Prep
Activity Description: Volunteers will clean and repair gently used books that Spread the Word Nevada will distribute to students at underserved schools.

Where: STWN Office/Volunteer Room – 5373 Arville Street Las Vegas NV 89118
Parking: Parking is available in front of our office and covered parking is on the south side of the building feel free to park in the shade.
What to Wear: Please wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes to be working in a warehouse setting.
Age Requirements: Individuals must be at least 7 years old to volunteer, and volunteers between the ages of 7-16 must have an adult with them at all times when they are with us. Participants under 18 who are accompanied by an adult who is not their parent or guardian, must come with a signed by a parent or guardian.
