• Rent Our Collaboration Zone

    Central Carolina Community Foundation welcomes you to use our collaborative meeting space located in the heart of the Bull Street District in downtown Columbia, SC.

    Renting our fully equipped Collaboration Zone includes free wi-fi and full access to the following spaces:

    • Community Room: Space for up to 60 people featuring two large screens (already connected to a computer or plug in your own), two cameras for video conferencing, speakers built-in to the ceiling, microphones (two hand-held and one lavalier), a podium, and easily movable tables and chairs. This space is great for a training, board meeting, or staff retreat.
    • Palmetto Room: Space for up to 8 people featuring a traditional small conference table. This is great for a space to prep or a quiet space for a call during a larger meeting.
    • Reception Area: Space between Community Room and Palmetto Room is great for event registration or check-in and to serve food on the long table or countertop space. There is a water cooler and coffee station available. Ice not provided.

    Hours of Operation: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM

    During these hours, at least one Foundation staff person will be on site to assist you.

    Through this form, you can book and pay for the space in one simplified process, which guarantees your use of the space. For ease of booking, if you book the space for a day, it is yours for that full day within the hours of operation. If you need the space for multiple days, complete this form more than once.

  • Please let us know the time you plan to begin and end using the space. Although we do not book more than one external group on the same day, this information allows our staff to use the space outside of your reserved hours.

    The actual start time should be no earlier than 8:30AM, and the actual end time no later than 5:00PM. If you are interested in something outside of these hours, contact Lindsey Pitts (803-978-7817 or lindsey@yourfoundation.org) for further assistance.

    Cancellation Policy: All bookings require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellation. To cancel your reservation, contact Lindsey Pitts at 803-978-7817 or lindsey@yourfoundation.org. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled rental are not eligible for a refund.

    Leave the Space as You Found It: Please return the space to the condition in which you found it. This includes disposing of trash, wiping down tables if needed, returning tables and chairs to their original arrangement, removing all personal items, decorations, and supplies, and taking any leftover food or beverages with you.

    Food and Beverages: Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome. Renters are responsible for all setup, serving, and cleanup. The Foundation provides a coffee station and water cooler. Ice is not provided.

    Technology and Equipment: The audiovisual equipment included with the space is available for your use. A Foundation staff member can provide basic assistance during business hours, but renters are responsible for operating the equipment during their event.

    Care of the Facility: Renters are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear caused by attendees, vendors, or guests during the reservation. Please report any damage or maintenance concerns before leaving.

    Capacity: For safety reasons, attendance may not exceed the posted capacity of each room.

    Respect for the Building and Other Tenants: Our meeting space is located within a shared office building. Please be respectful of other tenants by keeping noise to a reasonable level, using only the spaces included in your rental, and ensuring guests use shared areas, including restrooms, courteously. Hallways, elevators, and common areas should remain clear at all times.

    Liability: Central Carolina Community Foundation is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended personal property brought into the facility.

    Right to Decline Reservations: The Foundation reserves the right to decline or cancel reservations that conflict with the Foundation's policies, mission, or operational needs.
