WHY DWOS? This major fundraising event supports the Ballarat Foundation, helping break cycles of disadvantage and creating lasting impact in our Ballarat community.
In 2026, thanks to our incredible cast of community stars and their supporters, over $300,000 was raised for the Ballarat Foundation.
WHAT’S INVOLVED? When you say yes to DWOS 2027, you’re saying yes to:
· A once-in-a-lifetime experience
· Ten weeks of fun and energetic dance training with your dance partner
· Becoming part of a connected and supportive team
· Receiving full media support, marketing tools, and guidance to help you shine on stage and in your fundraising
YOUR COMMITMENT
- Raise $20,000 in support of the Ballarat Foundation - Each Stars primary goal is to raise at least $20,000 to support the Ballarat Foundation. This includes securing at least one major sponsor, with sponsorship packages ranging from $2,500 to $10,000.
- Participate in dance rehearsals – 2 hours per week from April to June
- Attend group rehearsals and social brunches in the lead-up to the gala
- Perform a choreographed dance routine on gala night in front of 300+ guests!
- Organise a table or two of your family – friends and networks to attend the gala night
Don’t worry – no prior dance experience is necessary. We’ve got you every step of the way!
