1. You must be dressed as a Playboy style bunny or Hef and have assembled, sewn, commissioned, or otherwise created your costume specifically for the contest. You cannot enter if you simply added ears, tail, or robe to an existing costume/cosplay. If you have significantly modified an existing cosplay, for example, sewing a bunny suit for your existing Loki cosplay, this is eligible for the contest. Adding a robe to your existing Ironman suit, does not meet the criteria for admittance to the contest. The registrar reserves the right disqualify anyone from entering the competition. You must be 21 or older to enter the contest.
2. Sixty (60) qualified entrants will be selected for live judging. Judging: Thursday, September 3rd, 5:30 – 8:00 PM. We expect more entrants than judging slots; not all qualified entrants will move on to live judging. All valid entries will be reviewed after the application closes; time of submittal does not confer any priority.
3. Contestants are eligible for all category awards:

4. Please attach at least (1) photo of your costume. Your build does not need to be complete; work in progress photos are accepted. However, overall doneness of your build will be considered when selecting the top 60. You do not need to be in the costume or in full hair/makeup/bodypaint; however if these components are a significant aspect of your costume we encourage you to include them in your photo submittals. Those entering as a group or couple can submit the same photo - example if one person is building for the group everyone in that group can use the same photo. Up to three (3) photos may be attached for individuals and up to six (6) photos may be attached for groups but at least one (1) photo must be attached to complete the application.
5. Form must be completely filled out, with at least one picture attached, a valid contact method, submitted by 7:00 PM PST on August 14th, 2026 to be considered.
6. Other important details:
- By entering the contest, you give us permission to post your picture on the Bunny Hutch Facebook page if you are selected as a winner.
- Prior winners of any prior year/category cannot enter the 2026 contest with a winning costume.
- If you entered in any prior year and do not win, you may re-enter in 2026 with the same costume.
- Category awards (awards other than 1st - 5th) are provided courtesy of your contest host Lisa Bregent. Prizes are not redeemable/exchangeable for cash value or for any other type of prize.
