Acknowledgment of Responsibility
For the Mother-Daughter Ceremony Journey facilitated by Mama Angie (Angie Tobon) and Vital Ki Inc.
By registering for and participating in the Mother-Daughter Ceremony (hereafter "the Ceremony"), both participants ("Mother" and "Daughter," collectively "Participants") acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Nature of the Ceremony and Mutual Respect
The Ceremony is a sacred, shamanic, and transformational journey designed to foster understanding, healing, and deeper connection. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, or professional therapeutic treatment or diagnosis. All guidance, ceremonies, and healing practices offered by Mama Angie and Vital Ki are provided with the utmost respect and profound consideration for the emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of each participant. The container is held with the intention of creating a safe, non-judgmental space for truth, compassion, and mutual respect.
2. Voluntary Participation and Informed Consent
Both Participants affirm that they are entering this Ceremony of their own free will and with full awareness of the process. Participants confirm they have read, understood, and had the opportunity to ask questions about the Ceremony description, including its preparatory guidelines and the nature of the work involved, before registering. Participation is a conscious choice made with a clear understanding of the emotional and spiritual depth of the journey.
3. Acknowledgment of Risk and Personal Responsibility
Due to the profound and deeply personal nature of this healing work, Participants acknowledge that the Ceremony may bring to the surface strong emotions, memories, and physical or mental sensations. Each Participant expressly assumes full responsibility for their own:
Physical health and safety
Emotional regulation and mental capacity
Psychological well-being and reactions
Each Participant is responsible for monitoring their own state of being and for seeking outside professional support (e.g., medical, psychological, psychiatric) should they deem it necessary before, during, or after the Ceremony.
4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, each Participant, on behalf of themselves and their heirs, executors, and assigns, hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue Angie Tobon, Vital Ki, their employees, contractors, facilitators, agents, and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, expenses, actions, or causes of action, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in any way related to their participation in the Ceremony. This includes, but is not limited to, claims for emotional distress, psychological discomfort, or any other negative consequences experienced as a result of or during the Ceremony.
5. No Refund Policy
Participants acknowledge and agree that due to the intimate, customized, and preparatory nature of the Ceremony, which includes access to preparatory materials, questionnaires, and the reservation of dedicated time and sacred space, all payments, including the full energy exchange of $1,777, are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. This no-refund policy applies under all circumstances, including but not limited to changes of mind, scheduling conflicts, or unexpected personal events.
6. Agreement and Acknowledgment
By registering and submitting the energy exchange, both Participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and fully and voluntarily agree to all terms of this Disclaimer and Acknowledgment of Responsibility. They confirm they are entering this journey with clear, authentic, and sincere intentions, taking full ownership of their personal healing path.
