1. One-Year Warranty on Custom Work We stand behind what we build. Country Boy Food Trucks provides a one-year limited warranty on all custom fabrication work — including stainless steel, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, and propane systems. If something we built isn't right under normal use, we'll make it right.
2. Equipment Warranty — Registration Is on You Any equipment we purchase and install comes with the manufacturer's own warranty, and that's usually a great one. However, it's your responsibility to register each piece of equipment with the manufacturer and submit any required paperwork. We can't file those claims on your behalf, and unregistered equipment may not be covered — so don't skip that step!
3. What's Not Covered — User Error Our warranty covers defects in our workmanship, not damage caused by misuse, operator error, neglect, or modifications made without our knowledge. If it was working when it left our shop and something went sideways in the field, that's outside our warranty coverage.
4. What's Not Covered — Frozen Plumbing If your water lines freeze because the system wasn't properly winterized before cold weather hit, that repair falls on you. We strongly recommend winterizing your unit every season — and we're happy to help with that. Just give us a call before the temperatures drop.
5. What's Not Covered — Truck Mechanics We build the kitchen, not the truck. Any issues with the vehicle's engine, transmission, chassis, or mechanical components are outside our scope entirely. Those concerns should go to your truck dealer or a qualified mechanic.
6. Payment Terms To get your build scheduled, we require a 70% deposit at the time of contract signing. The remaining 30% is due at completion, before the unit leaves our lot. Repairs and other services may have their own payment terms outlined at the time of estimate.
7. Change Orders We get it — things change. If you'd like to make any changes to the agreed scope of work after signing, just put it in writing and we'll review it together. All change orders must be submitted in writing and approved by both parties before any work begins on the change. Verbal agreements on changes won't be honored, so let's keep everything documented so there are no surprises.
8. Pickup & Delivery Unless we've made separate arrangements in writing ahead of time, all completed units must be picked up at our shop in Denison, Texas. Customer is responsible for arranging transportation if needed. We do not deliver as a standard service, but delivery can be discussed and agreed upon separately.
9. All Repair Work Is Done at Our Shop Our team does not travel for on-site or mobile repair work. All warranty repairs, maintenance, and service work must be brought to our location. This helps us do the job right and keeps your turnaround time as short as possible.
10. Unit Pickup After Completion — 10-Day Rule Once your unit is finished and you've been invoiced for the final balance, you have 10 days to pick it up. After 10 days, a $50 per day storage fee will be charged until the unit is picked up. This applies to both new builds and repair work. We'll always give you a heads-up when your unit is ready so you can plan accordingly.
11. Warranty Claims To submit a warranty claim, just reach out to us in writing with a description of the issue, a few photos, and your original invoice. We'll take a look and work with you to get it resolved. We reserve the right to inspect the unit before approving any warranty repair.
12. Limitation of Liability Our total responsibility under this warranty is limited to the original amount paid for the build or repair. We aren't liable for lost revenue, missed events, or other business-related losses that may result from equipment issues.
13. Agreement By signing or submitting this form, you confirm that you've read and agree to these terms. If you have any questions before signing, just ask — we'd rather clear things up upfront than deal with confusion later.
14. I understand that there is a fee for the creation of a full estimate and a separate fee for floor plans. This estimate and floor plan set belong to you once you have paid for them. We will apply the fees towards your food unit once you place an order with us, or you are free to shop around with these documents as references.
