Chicago District Tennis Association (CDTA) Board of Directors Application
We are grateful for your interest in being a part of CDTA. The following application offers us an opportunity to learn more about you, your skills, attributes and what you would bring to our board. Applications will be reviewed and evaluated by our Nominating Committee. Follow-up discussions with candidates will begin no later than August so that formal nominations of candidates can be made to the Board at its November Annual Meeting. Why do you want to be a part of the CDTA Board?
Which parts of CDTA's work are of greatest interest to you (check all that apply):
Board service is a commitment of time and energy. We estimate that board service could require 1 to 5 hours each month (working on a project or with a committee, attending events, etc.). At a minimum, we expect participation in at least 3 Board meetings/year. Do you have any concerns or potential conflicts that may serve as impediments to this time commitment? If so, how will you manage the demands on your time?

After your application has been reviewed you may be asked to interview in order for us to better get to know you. Ultimately, the CDTA Nominating Committee will submit a proposed Board of Directors slate that will be voted on at the November Annual Meeting of the association. You will be notified in advance if you will be included on the slate.
