Katy Youth Symphony~

Katy Youth Symphony is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for youth musicians to grow and excel in their craft. We’re so excited to have you join us for another wonderful year! Whether you’re a returning family or joining us for the first time, thank you for being part of our growing musical community. We’re honored to support your child’s development as a young musician.

Rehearsals: Weekly rehearsals take place on Mondays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

DATES: September 14th - May 04th 2026

LOCATION: Mondays, Steve Raddick Community Center- 18650 Clay Rd, Houston, TX 77084

Tuition: $590 (20% sibling discount applied at checkout). Tuition payment is due before the first day of Band rehersal (Monday, September 14, 2025).

Tuition for Cypress Lakes, Langham Creek HS, Kahla,Aragon,Cardiff,Mayde Creek,Watkins, ILTexas and Harmony students is $400 (Scholarship applied)

Payment plans available.

Payment Plan A ( 2 Payment Split), Payment due September & October.

Payment Plan B ( 3 Payment Split), Payment due September & October, November

Tuition invoicing wil begin in September.

Katy Youth Symphony Handbook

I/we have read and understand the Katy Youth Symphony Participant Handbook. I agree to abide by the outlined rules and policies. I agree to help maintain an atmosphere of respect and to come to each rehearsal prepared and on time, with a good attitude. I will use the KatyYS attendance forum (REMIND) to communicate my late arrivals or absences.

Media Release

• I hereby assign and grant to Katy Youth Symphony (KatyYS) the right and permission to use and publish the photographs/film/videos/ electronic representations and/or sound recordings made of me or my child(ren) at all KatyYS activities, and I hereby release the KatyYS contractors, volunteers, and related parties associated with the activity from any and all liability from such use and publication

• I hereby authorize the reproduction, sale, copyright, exhibit, broadcast, electronic storage, and/or distribution of said photographs/film/videos/electronic representations and/or sound recordings without limitation at the discretion of KatyYS, and I specifically waive any right to any compensation I may have for any of the foregoing.

Authorized to Treat Minor: In the event that I cannot be reached in an emergency, I hereby permit a Katy Youth Symphony representative to call 911 and/or to contact a medical facility or physician selected by Katy Youth Symphony to provide proper treatment. I will be responsible for all expenses arising in association with such treatment.

Indemnity and Waiver of Claim: I hereby acknowledge that as a condition of the student(s) participating in the activities, agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Katy Youth Symphony, Harris County Precinct 4 and Powerhouse Church, its employees and volunteers, its governing board, the individual members thereof, and all other officers, agents and employees from any liability, lawsuit, cost, expense or claim of any type whatsoever (including legal fees) for any harm, injury or death arising out of the above-mentioned activity.

Student Self Check Out Form:

Fill this section out if you permit your student to check themselves out at dismissal time each day. If you do not agree, you will need to come into the building to pick-up your student.

I {name19}, agree and do hereby waive, release, absolve, forever discharge, and do further agree to indemnify and hold Katy Youth Symphony and Katy ISD, its employees, trustees, officers, volunteers, affiliates and agents harmless from any and all claims, damages, losses and/or expenses arising out of my child leaving on their own, and/or being released without their parent or guardian's personal appearance anytime during, or at the conclusion of rehearsal and/or leaving the campus at Katy ISD, Powerhouse Church, Harris County Precinct 4 Community Centers or any other venues rehearsal or events are held. I {name19} will instruct my child not to leave the premisies before dismissal, and share with them instructions regarding their pick-up.

The tuition for Band is $590, Tuition payment is due before the first day of Band rehersal (Wednesday, September 10th, 2025).
