The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a time to come together in remembrance, reflection, learning, and community. Hosted by Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc and the City of Kamloops, this gathering creates a welcoming space to honour Survivors, their families, and all those impacted by the residential school system while encouraging meaningful conversations about truth and reconciliation. Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from guest speakers, enjoy cultural performances and entertainment, participate in hands-on workshops, explore local vendors, and enjoy a variety of food trucks. We are grateful to the vendors, artists, and community partners who help make this event a place of connection, learning, and celebration of Indigenous culture and resilience.
