  • Art Fusion III Written Material Submission Form

The Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District is proud to present Art Fusion III, an exhibition that brings written and visual art together in creative conversation. This unique show pairs writers with visual artists: writers submit original prose or poetry, and participating artists review the submissions and select one piece to inspire a new work of visual art. The resulting written and visual works will be showcased together at a reception on Saturday, September 12th, from 5–7 PM.

There will be several steps for the writer and artist to follow, and our timeline is aggressive, so let’s begin.

    Writers, you are up first:

    ·         Applicants under 18 years need a parent or guardian signature

    ·         Applicants can be professional or amateur

    ·         Written work cannot exceed 300 words

    ·         Written work must be a minimum font size 12 pt and fit on one 8 ½ x 11 sheet of paper

    ·         Fill out the application online or bring to Corbin Gallery for Submission of Written Prose or Poem:  Deadline August 3, 2026

    ·         Applicant can upload multiple types of files, such as PDF, PNG, JPEG, and Word documents at the time of application. The application submission deadline is August 3rd.

    ·         Paper applications are available at Corbin Studio & Gallery: Please leave a copy of your written work with the application.

Entering this exhibit for the writer and artist is free, but we encourage you to be a Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District member. Ask about how to become a member. All questions need to go to arts@crisfieldcityhall.com and will be answered as promptly as possible. Please note this is not a juried exhibition. Still, space is limited and Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District reserves the right to refuse any written or visual artwork that does not meet its exhibit criteria.
