  • Thank you for your interest in participating in the West Valley Black Business Marketplace, presented by Lavix Community Outreach, a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening communities through economic empowerment, stability, and opportunity, in partnership with the NAACP West Valley Branch Economic Development Committee.

    This curated marketplace celebrates Black-owned businesses while creating opportunities for entrepreneurs to increase their visibility, connect with the community, and grow their businesses. By supporting local businesses, we help foster economic resilience and invest in a stronger West Valley.

    The marketplace will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Chicken N Pickle – Westgate in Glendale, Arizona from 11a to 3p.

    We are seeking a diverse group of approximately 20-22 businesses representing a variety of industries to provide attendees with a unique shopping and networking experience. 

    Submission of an application does not guarantee vendor acceptance. Applications will be reviewed to ensure a balanced representation of products and services. Approved vendors will receive a confirmation email with payment instructions.

    We look forward to showcasing your business and building a stronger community together. 

    This will be an outdoor event. There is shading and misters around the property.

    You are welcome to bring a tent.

    Each vendor registration includes a food voucher/drink you can utilize before, during, or after the event.

    Application Deadline: August 15, 2026 

    Notification of Acceptance or Denial: Within 48 hours.

    Approved Acceptence must render payment within 48 hours following email.

  • VENDOR AGREEMENT & TERMS AND CONDITIONS
    By submitting this application, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions governing participation in the West Valley Black Business Marketplace, hosted by the Lavix Community Outreach in collaboration with the West Valley NAACP.

     

    Vendor Participation
    The Vendor agrees to participate in the West Valley Black Business Exchange on the date and time designated by the event organizers. Vendors are expected to conduct themselves professionally and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and family-friendly environment.


    Vendor Space
    Each vendor will be assigned one designated vendor space. Vendors are responsible for supplying their own table, chairs, canopy (if desired), table coverings, extension cords, displays, and any other materials needed for their booth.

    Vendor spaces may not be transferred, shared, or reassigned without prior written approval from the event organizers.


    Setup & Breakdown
    Vendors must arrive during the designated setup period and be fully set up before the event begins.

    Early breakdown is not permitted unless approved by the event organizers. Vendors are responsible for removing all merchandise, equipment, and trash from their assigned space before leaving.


    Food Credit
    As part of your vendor registration, each registered vendor will receive a meal credit of up to $20 to use toward food purchases at Chicken N Pickle during the event.

    Any purchases exceeding the allotted credit, including alcoholic beverages, gratuity, taxes (if applicable), or additional menu items, are the sole responsibility of the vendor.

    The meal credit is non-transferable, has no cash value, and may only be redeemed during the event.


    Venue Policies
    This event is hosted at Chicken N Pickle. Vendors agree to comply with all venue rules and staff instructions.

    Without written approval from Chicken N Pickle, vendors may not:

    Bring outside food or beverages
    Serve food or drinks
    Bring alcoholic beverages onto the premises
    Damage walls, furniture, landscaping, or other venue property
    Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.


    Vendor Conduct
    Vendors agree to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner.

    The following are prohibited:

    Offensive language or behavior
    Harassment
    Political campaigning without approval
    Excessive noise or disruptive conduct
    Illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited merchandise
    Event organizers reserve the right to remove any vendor whose conduct negatively impacts the event.


    Products & Services
    Vendors may only sell or promote products and services that were disclosed during the application process.

    The sale of illegal, counterfeit, dangerous, or offensive products is strictly prohibited.


    Vendor Responsibility
    Vendors are responsible for:

    Their own merchandise
    Cash handling and payment processing
    Equipment
    Insurance (if applicable)
    Sales tax reporting
    Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws
    The event organizers assume no responsibility for vendor sales or business operations.


    Damage to Property
    Vendors are financially responsible for any damage they, their employees, or their guests cause to Chicken N Pickle property or event equipment.

    Any repair costs assessed by the venue may be passed on to the responsible vendor.


    Loss or Theft
    The event organizers and Chicken N Pickle are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise, equipment, cash, or personal belongings.

    Vendors participate at their own risk.


    Weather
    This event is scheduled to take place rain or shine.

    Should severe weather or unforeseen circumstances require modifications, delays, relocation, or cancellation, the event organizers will communicate updates as quickly as possible.


    Photography & Media
    By participating, vendors grant the event organizers permission to photograph and record their booth, products, and participation for promotional, marketing, and future event purposes without additional compensation.


    Cancellation by Vendor
    Vendor registration fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizers.

    If a vendor is unable to attend, registration may not be transferred without prior approval.


    Release of Liability
    The Vendor agrees to release and hold harmless the NAACP West Valley Branch, Lavix Community Outreach, Chicken N Pickle, event sponsors, volunteers, staff, and affiliates from any claims, injuries, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the event, except where caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.


    Agreement
    By submitting an application and participating in this event, the Vendor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined in this Vendor Agreement.

     

    Community Commitment
    The West Valley Black Business Exchange is designed to foster collaboration among Black-owned businesses and community organizations. Vendors are encouraged to actively engage with attendees, network with fellow vendors, support neighboring businesses, and contribute to a positive, community-centered experience.


    Vendor Certification
    By signing below, I certify that:

    The information provided in this application is true and accurate.
    I have read and agree to abide by the Vendor Agreement and Terms and Conditions.
    I understand that submission of this application does not guarantee acceptance.
    I understand that failure to comply with these policies may result in removal from the event.
