Rehearsals will take place Monday-Thursday from 6-9pm with possible Sunday evenings at 6-9pm as needed.
All rehearsals and performances will be held at Stage Left Theater.
Performances run September 11th-27th, 2026.
• Auditions will be held July 20th and 21st from 6-9 at Stage Left.
• Callbacks will be held on July 22nd at 6pm (if necessary).
• Auditions will be cold readings from the script. Sides will not be provided prior to arriving at the audition, this is to ensure all auditioners have an equitable opportunity to prepare. The Script is available for reading upon request.
• Please come prepared for some improvisation and possible puppetry work.
• You may submit a video audition if you are unable to attend either day. Please reach out to request a side for auditions or to arrange another date.
• This show contains some serious themes surrounding gender identity, sexuality and sexual expression, blended families, and situations which include comedic depictions of violence.
• For this show and the remainder of 2026, all actors and stagehands at Stage Left are volunteers without stipend, but will share equally in the Artist Appreciation Pool collected during the run of the show - paid out after the final performance.
• Please fill out any known conflicts that you may have during the rehearsal and production dates at the bottom of this form. Be honest: Better to list conflicts than to surprise us later. Having conflicts does not preclude you from being cast EXCEPT during Tech Weeks and Show Dates (September 5th-27th).
• Remember, if we do not cast you, it doesn't mean that you didn't audition well, or that others were more talented than you. Many factors go into the casting process, and often excellent auditions do not lead to an offered role, while "less-than-stellar" audition do! There are often times when a show is cast and then changes are made after that casting due to conflicts, illnesses, etc., so maintaining a positive outlook during and after auditioning is crucial. More than anything, you are here to show us who you are. Be yourself. Be professional. HAVE FUN.
Actors of all ethnicities, gender identities, and backgrounds are encouraged to audition. Performers should be comfortable portraying the ages listed for each role. Given the content of production, roles will be age restricted to no younger than 16.
In the event that any cast or crew are under 18 years of age (minors), ALL production members will be required to complete a background check.
