• A Grief Gathering for Therapists and Careworkers

We spend our days tending to other people's grief. Ours learns to wait.

This gathering is for therapists, social workers, psychologists, medical providers, caseworkers, chaplains, hospice workers, careworkers, and healers. A place for those of us who do the tending to be tended to.

We'll meet on Zoom for ninety minutes. We'll ground, breathe, reflect, and remember. You can lay down your roles, your credentials, your armor, and let yourself be witnessed.

Bring your grief over a loved one, a relationship, an estrangement. Bring burnout, your health, the loss of a previous version of yourself. Bring the weight of racism and oppression. Bring the heartbreak of this field, the exhaustion of caregiving, the ache of aloneness. Bring your sadness, your laughter, your numbness, or simply your desire to be in the presence of others. There is no right way to grieve and no right way to show up.

There will be room to name your grief, sing it, sway with it, cry, laugh, whisper, or sit in silence. Grief and joy, exhaustion and hope, tenderness and truth. All of it belongs here.

Held by Tasha Hunter, MSW, LCSW — a clinician who grieves too.

    What to expect
No one is required to speak or share. Cameras can be on or off. Everything is invitational. This gathering will not be recorded, and we'll open with shared agreements about privacy.

You might want water, tissues, a journal, and a corner where you can be unguarded.

This is a communal grief space, not group therapy, clinical supervision, or a CE training.
