Format: Outdoor soccer games and development (grass field)

Group Size: 16 players per group

Focus: Match play • Decision making • Teamwork • Confidence • Game experience

Program Type: Co-ed – all players welcome regardless of gender or experience level

 

Unlike our spring training series, the Summer Games Series places a greater emphasis on small-sided games, match play, and friendly competition, with a shorter technical warm-up each session. It's the perfect way for players to stay active, have fun, and prepare for the September Spartans Tournament.

Scenic grass fields with plenty of space for exciting small-sided games and match play.

Times

Ages 6–9 → 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Ages 10–13 → 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Session Format

U9 & U13

15–20 minute technical warm-up

40–70 minutes of small-sided games, match play, and fun competitions

Current Spartans jerseys will continue to be worn.

 

Each week may include:

3v3 & 4v4 games

King of the Court

Mini tournaments

Team challenges

Match scenarios

Championship games

 

Registration Fee

$60 per player

Spartans discount! $20 off for current Spartan players!

 

Includes the full 4-week Summer Games Series.

Payments handled directly by Coach Sam (E-transfer).

 

Policies

Commitment: Players should attend all sessions whenever possible or notify the coach if absent.

Equipment: Cleats or running shoes suitable for grass required. Shin guards recommended.

Uniform: Players should wear their Spartans training jersey.

Discipline: Zero tolerance for disrespect, rough play, or inappropriate language toward players, coaches, volunteers, or officials.

Refunds: No refunds after program start.

Weather: Sessions cancelled due to weather will be rescheduled when possible.

Safety: Any suspected concussion or injury must be reported immediately.

Photography & Media: Unless otherwise indicated on the registration form, player photos and videos may be used for promotional and social media purposes.

At Simcoe Spartans, we take pride in celebrating the effort, growth, and passion of our players. We love sharing moments of teamwork, skill, and fun through photos and videos captured during training sessions and events. These highlights may be shared on our official Simcoe Muskoka Soccer social media platforms, website, and other promotional materials to showcase our community and inspire others.

Please review the consent section below to let us know if we have permission to include your child in these features.

I grant permission to Simcoe Spartans (under Simcoe Muskoka Soccer) to take and use photos and/or videos of my child during training sessions and events for promotional purposes, including social media, website, and printed materials. I understand that no personal information will be shared without explicit consent and that I may revoke this permission at any time in writing.

I understand that participation in Simcoe Spartans training involves physical activity and carries a risk of injury. I release Simcoe Spartans, Simcoe Muskoka Soccer, its organizers, coaches, volunteers, and facilities from any liability for injury, loss, or damage sustained during training activities. I accept full responsibility for any medical expenses that may arise from such injuries and confirm that my child is physically able to participate in outdoor soccer.

Once this form is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with program details.

To finalize your registration, payment ($60 for new Spartans - $40 for current Spartans) is due July 24th, 2026. E-Transfer to:

After your registration is complete, you can expect a welcome text or call from Coach Sam to confirm everything and answer any questions.
