Founded in 2000 by John P. Carter, Turner 12 was created from a simple yet powerful belief—that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed through education. With more than four decades of experience as an educator, mentor, and youth advocate, Mr. Carter has dedicated his life to empowering underserved students to become first-generation college graduates and future community leaders. His vision continues to inspire generations of students to pursue excellence and make a lasting impact.
