WHAT HAVE I GOT MYSELF INVOLVED IN?
This carefully planned ‘Lancelin Rescue Ride’, a peaceful community action in the centre of Perth is happening on Thursday 23rd July at 11am. Media are keen. Permits are obtained. Coach is booked to leave Lancelin at 0845. Hon Roger Cook and Minister John Carey have both been invited to speak with us; Minister John Carey apologised for not being able to make the demonstration, but has asked a delegation to meet with him in his office at 4:30pm. We have a strong team doing just that; lets wait and see what transpires. What a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate as a community that we have had enough of being ignored. Even if you arrive late by whatever means, get yourself and your friends/family signed up and tell everyone you're Rescuing Lancelin. There will be TV crews everywhere and it will be an exciting adventure.
