  • Volunteer Opportunities

    Atlanta Saddle Club Association is volunteer-led. Members are expected to actively support the club by serving on at least one committee. Serving on a committee is a great way to meet fellow members, showcase your talents, and help make our events and programs successful. Please select the committee(s) that best match your interests and skills.
    • Community Outreach works to extend ASCA’s reach and impact by connecting with and serving the community.  It actively seeks opportunities to support individuals and families in need. This committee works closely with Fundraising to help create relationships that lead to sponsorships, donations, partnerships, and volunteers.
    • Fundraising develops strategies to raise funds that support ASCA’s community outreach efforts, events, activities and operational  needs.  It plans fundraising activities, and builds relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners to generate financial support.
    • Groove (Dance & Performances) creates the energy that makes ASCA events memorable and promotes club spirit. This committee encourages member involvement by teaching line dances, coordinating dance activities at events, and representing ASCA through performances and public appearances.
    • Hospitality serves as the club’s ambassadors.  They create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for members, guests, sponsors, and visitors at ASCA events and activities. They also coordinate and organize food, drinks, and snacks as needed.
    • Operations helps create a safe and enjoyable experience for members, volunteers, and guests. It is responsible for the setup, execution, and breakdown of ASCA events and activities. They work behind the scenes to ensure that facilities, equipment, supplies, and event spaces are prepared, safe, functional, and organized before, during, and after each event.
    • Planning manages and organizes ASCA’s calendar of events and appearances and oversees the annual anniversary trail ride.  It is responsible for providing equine education to members and coordinates with all other committees and the Executive Board to plan member activities throughout the year.

  • Membership dues are $45.00 per quarter ($20.00 for Junior/Student members) once the board approves your membership.  Membership includes access to horses (at the horse owner's discretion), free admission to club events and activities*, and 2 club shirts per year.  Additional club wear is offered at a discount.  Members are also allowed 1 free guest for most club events.  

    *Members may be required to pay discounted admission to fundraising events.
