  • SERVICE FEES

  • The Breeding Service Fee is $4,950 including GST and is payable PTIF at 42 days. The service fee only is fully refundable if the mare fails to have a positive pregnancy at 42 days. All fees include GST.

  • CHARGES

  • AGISTMENT: The mare owner agrees to pay all agistment charges for the mare and/or progeny at the Breeding Centre.
  • VETERINARY FEES: Veterinary services for the mare will be conducted at the discretion of the stallion owners in consultation with the stud veterinarian. Veterinary procedures will be separately invoiced and are payable by the mare owner.
  • SHIPPED SEMEN: The mare owner is responsible for all costs associated with collection and shipment of chilled semen. Collection and freight charges are payable directly to the Breeding Centre. The stallion owners accept no responsibility for delays, loss or damage during transport.

  • SERVICE CERTIFICATES

  • An Australian Stock Horse Society (ASHS) Breeding Certificate will be supplied at no charge following the successful birth of a live foal. If requested by the mare owner, an Australian Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) Stallion Breeding Return will also be completed, provided the mare is AQHA registered and eligible. Please provide a copy of the mare's ASHS and/or AQHA registration papers with this contract. Non-registered mares are welcome. A separate contract must be completed for each successful pregnancy.

  • FREE RETURN

  • The mare is entitled to a free return if the foal dies within 48 hours of foaling or is stillborn. A report from a certified veterinary surgeon is required. A free return applies only to the year immediately following service. The mare owner may return the mare for the 2027 breeding season. Handling and full veterinary fees apply. If the mare dies, is unsuitable to breed or is sold, the right to a free service becomes null and void.

  • LIABILITY

  • The mare owner understands that the stallion owners will not be responsible for accidents, sickness, death, injury or disease to the mare and/or foal.
