The German Sport Youth (dsj) and the German-Turkish Youth Bridge, in cooperation with the municipalities of Istanbul-Ataşehir and Monheim am Rhein, bring city partnerships onto the sports field. Together, we aim to give young people the opportunity to gain international experience through sports, build new friendships, and actively shape the city partnerships of their municipalities.
For this purpose, sports clubs from city partnerships are invited to a German-Turkish networking meeting. The aim is to build new club partnerships and develop concrete youth exchanges in sports for the year 2027.
The programme is aimed at clubs that have not yet established, or have not yet regularly maintained, cooperation with a sports club in their Turkish partner city.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Participation is open to club tandems from Germany and Turkey. Each club sends one coach or club representative who will be responsible for leading the planned youth exchange in 2027. Clubs from all sports are welcome.

COSTS
Accommodation and catering during the networking meeting will be covered by the organizers. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to the maximum amount of the Erasmus+ travel grant. The reimbursement is based on the Erasmus+ distance bands and is calculated according to the travel distance between your place of residence and the event venue.
PERSPECTIVE 2027
The networking meeting marks the starting point for new German-Turkish club partnerships and youth exchanges in 2027. Participating clubs will be supported in planning joint projects, applying for funding, and building long-term cooperation.
