• Hindmarsh Shire Cat Desexing Clinics Feedback

  • Hindmarsh Shire Council has partnered with The Vet Project to hold affordable cat desexing clinics in Hindmarsh Shire.

    The Vet Project is a mobile, low cost veterinary service supporting regional Victoria by providing affordable desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, and parasite treatments to communities with limited access to traditional vet clinics.

    In early 2026, Council held cat desexing clinics in Rainbow and Nhill.

    We are now looking at holding a clinic in Dimboola and/or Jeparit, and want to know from the community if they have a preferred location. We're hoping to host The Vet Project in our Shire in September 2026.

    We had minimal interest at the Rainbow Clinic earlier this year, so we're wanting to make sure we are offering these clinics at locations most suited to the community.
