    After School 2026-2027

  • Thank you for your interest in registering your student with the SYNC Community Learning Center After School Program!

    Our After School program is FREE for rising 3rd - 12th grade students beginning August 24, 2026. We primarily serve 3rd-12th grade students currently enrolled at Rowland Elementary School, DeKalb Preparatory Academy, Peachcrest Elementary School, Mary McLeod Bethune Middle School and Towers High School during the school year.

    DeKalb Prep slots are full however, you may join the waitlist. 

    Daily Schedule:
    - 3:00 - Homework Support
    - 4:00 - Homework Support & Tutorial
    - 5:00 - Enrichment
    - 6:00 - Homework Support & Tutorial

    Things to Know:
    - The church bus will transport students from their school. Parent/Guardians must pick their student up from the church.
    - A hot meal & snack is served daily to the students.
    - Canby Lane, Peachcrest & Rowland students' pick up time is 6:00pm unless they have a sibiling at DPA, Bethune or Towers.
    - DPA, Bethune and Towers students' pick up time is 7:00pm.

    In support of the program, parents are asked to:
    - Attend parent orientation
    - Attend a parent workshop
    - Attend a one-on-one meeting concerning their child's progress
    - Participate in Family Community Service Day

    Parents will be notified if their student has been accepted by August 3, 2026.
