Grant Check Request

Please read and sign to request your grant award.
Request: Grant recipients must formally request the check when they are ready to spend the funds. Upon recieving this request, The Keweenaw Community Foundation will send the check to the mailing address within 30 days.

Timeline: In order for the Foundation to maintain an ongoing flow of funding, grants obligated or encumbered must be distributed within twelve (12) months from the date of award, otherwise, the grant will be rescinded. Please contact us for an extension.

Expenditure: This grant is to be used only for the purpose described in your grant request and as stated in your award letter. The grantee shall return to the Foundation any unexpected funds. The grantee organization must maintain adequate supporting records and must be responsible for the expenditure of the grant monies.

A project report is due within 30 days of requesting funds or upon completion of the project.
