What is Selective Service and why do I have to register?
Federal law mandates that almost all men in the United States between the ages of 18 and 25 register with the Selective Service System. This includes U.S. citizens, immigrants, and dual nationals, whether living in the U.S. or abroad, with few exceptions.
Registering with Selective Service does not mean you are joining the military.
Registration is required to enroll at Goodwill Technical College. You can register for Selective Service by clicking here. Your admissions application cannot be processed until this form is completed and proof of registration or exemption status is received.
