Eligibility requirements to audition:

Conservatory Program dancers or Level 5+

Please Note – MYB Training Program Eligibility: Selection for the MYB Training Program is contingent upon acceptance into the Conservatory Program. Ballet Program Director Lesley Shearer will be present at the MYB Trainee Program audition to assess dancers for Conservatory placement, if required. Conservatory placement will be finalized prior to confirming acceptance into the MYB Training Program.

Required attire for audition:

Pink or skin-tone tights. Tights and shoe color must match. You may wear skin-tone tights with skin-tone shoes or pink tights with pink shoes.

Black Leotard (No Skirts)
Please bring Pointe shoes and your flats
Hair in a Bun
No Jewelry

The deadline to submit the application is August 21, 2026. All students attending auditions are required to complete an application. Students who are not currently part of MYB will be charged a $20 audition fee. Any audition application submitted after the above date will incur a $10 late fee.

PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT: Each student accepted and enrolled in the company will be charged a monthly company participation fee (see below). Company rehearsals will be scheduled every Friday from 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Company members will be expected to sign a contract confirming their commitment to attending rehearsals and regular ballet classes. They may only miss ONE regularly scheduled rehearsal without consequence. Company members must make themselves available for all performances and related rehearsals/commitments.

FEES: Students who are not currently MYB members will be charged a $20 audition fee (see below).

All audition applications (member and non-member) received after the above date/time will incur a $10 late fee.

Each student who accepts and enrolls in the company will be charged a company participation fee of $1800 for the year, divided into 10 equal monthly installments of $180, payable from September 5, 2026, through June 5, 2027. ($1650 per year if in more than one company).
