We are looking for a variety of talented dancers and performers of all ages and backgrounds for our upcoming Summer 2026 projects. We have 2 upcoming dance film productions, a music festival performance and CYD? Super Convention Main Stage performance. We also have our upcoming training convention "The Breakthrough" for anyone wanting to keep up their training with a star faculty made up of Olivia Higham, Amie Mills, Callum Skidmore, Hannah Sandilands, Choreo By Daisy and more! So plenty of opportunities and quality training to soak up at Powerhouse this summer.

We provide professional expert training and experiences with an incredible seasoned faculty with director Lynsey Kelly's leadership, who are here to support, encourage and elevate your training and unlock that next level in your artistic development. Our projects allow passionate and driven performers from all across Scotland to connect, learn from each other and grow in a industry-realistic environment designed to give you the tools for both life and the stage. We work to high standard in an intensive setting while always maintaining the fun and the passion at the heart of it.

Summer Projects 2026:

• COMMERCIAL DANCE FILM - 16th & 17th July | Glasgow | Int/Adv Levels | All Ages

Secure place with £20 deposit. Remaining £35 fee due by 5pm Wednesday 15th July. 

Rehearsals @ Pulse Dance Studio (G31 1NU) 10.00-5.00 on 16th & Filming in Glasgow City Centre 9.00-2.00 on 17th. (Exact venue provided upon securing place to all participants)

Own costuming and hair styling. Performers will receive a brief of the vibe and colour scheme. 
 

• LYRICAL DANCE FILM - 23rd & 24th July | Rehearsal In Glasgow/Filming In Alloa | Int/Adv Levels | All Ages

Secure place with £20 deposit. Remaining £50 fee due by Wednesday 22nd July.

Rehearsals @ Pulse Dance Studio 10.00-5.00 on 23rd (G31 1NU) & Filming in Alloa 10.00-5.00 on 24th. This is a specialist location for this specific project (hint: water) with Alloa being the only studio of it's kind in Scotland. (exact venue provided upon securing place).

Own costuming with a specific colour scheme provided as well as additional costume and props provided by us. Brief of hair and makeup will be provided. 

Note: for anyone not driving, there is the option to travel there and back to Alloa via short train journey alongside director and chaperones on the morning filming day and it's a short walk to the filming location from the station. We will confirm meet time and pick up closer to project. This film is in association with Young Minds Charity and youth mental health.

 

• TOGETHER AGAIN FESTIVAL - 26th July | Bolesworth Castle, Chester | 2 Day Rehearsal Intensive dates TBC but provisionally reserved 21st & 22nd July | Int/Adv Levels | Ages 13+ | Commercial/Jazz/Lyrical Styles

We will contact everyone who expresses interest with full information pack for this event alongside confirmed x2 day intensive rehearsal details once we gage interest and projected numbers for availability, and will include all travel arrangements and costs. Performance fee and rehearsal intensive = £40 total and then you pay your train travel. Chester is a few hours via train. We will travel down in the morning, meeting at Glasgow Central 8.45am, travel via train to Chester, perform on stage between 1pm and 3pm, experience the headlining acts such as James Arthur, Becky Hill and Aitch, then travel home via train by 10.30pm. This will be own costumes but performers will receive a brief and colour scheme for costuming, hair and makeup.

 

• CYD? SUPER CONVENTION - 17th & 18th October | The Liverpool Experience Campus | Int/Adv Levels | Ages 12+ | All Styles | £42.50 Weekend Pass (Due by the end of July) 

Cast will require a set costume and follow the same brief for this performance. This along with full rundown and arrangements will be provided in your info packs. We will start ordering costumes when rehearsals commence for this in September.

We will travel to Liverpool via bus on the Friday late afternoon. Stay Friday-Sunday in apartment accommodation. Perform on the Saturday then travel home via bus at dinner time on the Sunday. Spectators are welcome but must arrange own accommodation.
