Please carefully read over our policy:
1. The borrower is entitled to one tablet and one USB-C Echo Meter bat microphone which they will use to locate and monitor bat activity in an area of their choice. If they would like a second tablet and microphone for another person, that person must separately fill out this request form.
2. The data collected will be transferred to a hardrive and deleted from the individual tablets after being returned for future research purposes. In the case that someone used the equipment in their home/private property, FUN would include the closest public address.
3. The borrower must be at least 18 years of age. To ensure that this is the case, ID must be shown during the allocated pick up time to validate the identity and age of the individual.
4. Items can be borrowed for one week at a time. If you would like to extend the borrowing time, you can reach out to fun_bibliotheque@urbanature.org with a request to hold the items for a maximum of one extra week. Acceptance of extensions will be granted depending on availability.
5. We ask that you respectfully and carefully use the devices as intructed in the manual that you will be provided. In the event that a borrowed item is damaged, we only ask for full transparency in regards to what the issue is and how it occurred so that we know how to proceed. Under no circumstance will the borrower be held financially responsible for the cost of repairs or replacements.
