Licensing, Registration & Fundraising Requirements

Please review the following information carefully before submitting your proposal:

• All local programs must sign a Local License Agreement with the Miss America Program.
• The Miss America Local License Fee is $250 for the first Miss and Teen titles awarded, plus $50 for each additional title.
• The Miss Iowa Local License Fee is waived for the first year of a new local competition.
• Beginning in the second year, the Miss Iowa Local License Fee is $450 annually and must be paid within 30 days of the local competition.
• All Miss and Teen contestants must pay the annual $49.99 Miss America registration fee.
• Contestants must raise a minimum of $30 for the American Heart Association/Miss America Scholarship Foundation (AHA/MASF) for each local competition they enter.
• Local titleholders must raise at least $300 for AHA/MASF to compete at the Miss Iowa State Competition.
