Kayak & Paddleboard Sign-out Rules
1. A Lincoln Recreation Department Kayak & Paddleboard Registration Form needs to be completed for the party using the kayaks.
2. Kayaks, Paddleboards, lifejackets, paddles are taken out when PTP staff are on duty and returned at least 30 minutes prior to closing unless other arrangements are made with the recreation director.
3. A copy of the registration form is to be given to a Prince Thomas Park staff member.
4. Kayaks & Paddleboard will not be signed out if there is a threat of thunderstorms in the area.
5. Children must be 10 or older to use a kayak or Paddleboard.
6. Individuals under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
7. 16 & 17 year-olds need a parent signature on the registration form.
8. One person per kayak & paddleboard.
9. Dogs are not allowed on kayaks & paddleboards or in the park.
10. Jumping out of kayaks is not allowed.
LIFEJACKETS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS REQUIREMENT WILL PREVENT FUTURE USE OF LINCOLN RECREATION DEPARTMENT KAYAKS & PADDLEBOARDS.
