Welcome to the David Abednego Cup Indoor Championship
On behalf of the Virgin Islands Field Archery Federation (VIFAF), it is our pleasure to welcome all archers, coaches, officials, volunteers, and spectators to the David Abednego Cup Indoor Championship.
This tournament celebrates precision, discipline, sportsmanship, and the spirit of field archery. Whether you are competing for the first time or are a seasoned athlete, we are delighted to have you join us for this exciting event. We encourage every competitor to give their best effort, respect fellow archers and officials, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes our archery community so special.

Competition Format
Distance
Adults, Youth & Cadets: 20 yards (18.3 meters)
Cubs: 10 yards (9.15 meters)
Target Faces
Competitors will shoot one of the following target faces depending on their division:
Blue and White 5-Spot – Five individual scoring spots on each target face.
Blue and White Single Spot – One larger circular scoring face.
Course of Fire
5 arrows per end
6 ends per round
2 rounds
Total arrows: 60
Maximum score: 300 points per round (600 points total)
Scoring
Inner White Circle (X-Ring): 5 points
Outer Blue Ring: 4 points
When shooting the 5-Spot Target, archers must shoot one arrow at each spot. Shooting more than one arrow into the same spot may result in penalties in accordance with the competition rules.
The Single Spot Target features the same scoring zones in a larger format and is commonly used by beginners and Barebow archers.
We encourage all competitors to familiarize themselves with the tournament rules before shooting and to direct any questions to the Tournament Director or Judges prior to the start of competition.
