Welcome

Alexis Lawson's Sober Coaching — Founding Cohort Application
  • 1

    Welcome to your next chapter.

    I'm so glad you're here.

This isn't a quick survey — it takes about 15–20 minutes to complete. It's the first real step into a new level, and new levels require new effort. What got you here already took everything you had — real strength, real discipline, real fight. That matters, and it deserves to be honored.

Now this is about something beyond just staying sober — it's about building the life all of that hard work was actually for. And I need you to hear this: it's possible. I'm not just saying that as a coach — I'm living proof.

Whether you're fully there yet or still fighting to get there — wherever you are in this journey, I want you to win, and I'm rooting for you.

This takes showing up fully — in the small moments, in the questions ahead, in every part of your recovery process.

This program is for adults — but I haven't forgotten about you.

This particular cohort is designed specifically for adults navigating life after sobriety, so it's not the right fit for you right now. But I want you to know — I see you, and I have other resources built specifically for people your age.

I work directly with youth ages 12–19 through my L.I.T.T. program, which includes support for getting and staying sober, along with the same kind of purpose, direction, and accountability work this application is about — just built for where you are in life. I'd genuinely love to connect. Please reach out to me directly so we can talk about what support looks like for you: info@alexislawsonspeaks.com

You're not too young to want more for your life. I'm just meeting you with the right resources for exactly where you are.

This isn't just about getting sober — it's about everything that comes with it. The life you're living now, the challenges you're facing, what feels hard even on the good days. Whether you're fully sober, in early recovery, or still in the struggle — your experience matters here. The more you share the more I have to work with.

Not just the one thing you've been putting off, the whole picture. Where are you living, what does a normal day feel like, who's around you, what have you built? Dream out loud here. Nothing is too big and nothing is too small. Describe it like it's already happening. The more detail the better.

I'm a firm believer that there's not one way to 'skin a cat' — and honestly, I think the more support, the merrier. For me, recovery has never come from just one place — I've leaned on a plethora of different kinds of support along the way, not just one thing. Select everything that applies to you.

This is one of the most important questions on this application. Don't tell me what you think I want to hear — tell me what you actually need. And if you know me, you know there's zero judgment here — I'm about as chill and laid-back as it gets. I've done a lot of things. I've heard it all and seen it all. So say what's real. The more specific and honest you are, the better this program can serve you.

Quick heads up before you dive in — this is a two-part question, and I'd love for you to answer both parts. Take your time with each one. This is one of the most powerful questions on this application. And if you're anything like me, the first part might be hard to answer. I started using very young, and honestly (12 yrs old), I don't have a clear memory of who I was before. If that's you too, just say so — 'I don't remember, I started young' is a complete and honest answer to that first part. Then take your time with the second half: who do you think you could become on the other side of this?
