2026-27 Pool Coordinator and Competitions Manager EOI
Gold Coast Water Polo are looking for multiple pool coordinators and competition managers interested making our competitions successful. This may be for Lutzy competition, junior comps, or our main senio comp.

Our main competition is our Senior Comp which is on Thursday Nights from 6:30-9:30pm at Miami Aquatic Centre:

- Early Octoberto Mid December 2026

- Early January to Late March 2027

If you're passionate about water polo and eager to learn, one of these roles could be perfect for you. Below are the responsibilities for each position:

Pool Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Check names on game sheets.
- Help coordinate pool setup and pack up.
- Direct people on the pool deck.
- Oversee and assist with table duty as needed.
- Make game cancellation decisions due to weather, in consultation with lifeguards.
- Manage equipment.
- Ensure games run on time—start the clock even if teams are not ready.
- Communication to teams, referees and the GCWP committee.
- Take on any additional responsibilities assigned by the committee.
- Communicate with the Competitions Manager the results, issues, etc.
Competitions Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage the competitions@goldcoastwaterpolo.com email during the season.Communicating with current and potential members, and promote GCWP.
- Create and manage game schedules.
- Organise the referee and table duty rosters.
- Collect game cards and record results and attendance into RevSport.
- Manage incident reports and inform the committee as needed.
- Communication to teams, referees and the GCWP committee.
- Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the committee
- Communicate with Pool Coordinator about results, issues, etc.
