The Outstanding Partnership Award recognizes a CDC or community development organization that has built an outstanding cross-sector partnership — with a university, religious institution, hospital or health system, financial institution, or other partner — to advance community development goals. This award celebrates collaborations that break down silos and bring new resources, expertise, or capacity into the field.
We are looking for nominees who:
- Demonstrate a creative, effective partnership between a CDC/nonprofit and an institution outside the community development sector (e.g., a university, hospital, faith-based institution, school system, or corporate partner);
- Show measurable impact on the community as a result of the partnership;
- Involve community residents in shaping the goals and direction of the partnership;
- Demonstrate a commitment to the vision and core values embraced by MACDC and its members;
- Bring innovation to how partners work together across sectors;
- Model a partnership structure that could be replicated by other organizations in the field; and/or
- Enhance the sense of community through collaborative work.
Please submit this form, a narrative describing the partnership, and any supporting materials by Friday, August 28, 2026.
