Use this form to earn your Community Service Bar or Service to Girl Scouting Bar for registered Girl Scout Cadette, Seniors and Ambassadors!
*REQUIREMENTS*

Your service hours for these bars need to be separate from those you use toward other awards. Each bar represents a new project, and can only be earned once for each level. If you have any questions about this award, please reach out to volunteerresources@gsmidtn.org

Community Service Bar:

1. Identify an organization you would like to volunteer with

2. Approach the organization to convey interest in volunteering, gain understanding of the organization’s needs, explain the requirements for this Award and identify a representative from the organization

3. Complete a minimum of 20 service hours. This does not include a training period, if required by the organization.
4. Keep track of your volunteer hours with time, date and hours volunteered
5. Submit this form after completion of your project

Service to Girl Scouting Bar:

1. Volunteer at Daisy, Brownie, or Junior Troop Meetings, Service Unit Events, Council Events, or Volunteer Led Day Camps etc. to complete service hours throughout the year
2. Complete a minimum of 20 service hours.
3. Keep track of your volunteer hours with time, date and hours volunteered

4. Submit this form after completion of your project

After submission:

Within 30 days, an evelope with a letter and certificate will be sent to the address listed here on this form. The letter authorizes you to purchase the Community Service Bar or Service to Girl Scouts pin for your Girl Scouts in our Shop.
