Your PDF files must be properly formatted by following the guidelines laid out here. Please read the following instructions carefully. Improperly formatted plans can delay the plan review process for your project.

■The File Name Should be Formatted as Follows: [Firm]_[Project Name]_HPOsubmission.pdf, replacing [Firm] with the name used to register and [Project Name] with the name of the project. 
■ File Format Primary Submission: PDF (max 6 pages in length)
■ File Format Supplementary Files: .gif, mp4, quicktime (in addition to the PDF)
■ Maximum Submission Size: 500 MB
■ Format: Vector preferred
■ Resolution: 300 ppi
■ Grouping: Multiple sheets within a single PDF document
■ Minimum Sheet Size (for plan sets): 24x36
■ Presentation Board to be used at the awards event should your design be chosen: (1) 24x36 board (horizontal or vertical format). This is in addition to the 6 page submission)
■ Files must be unprotected and unlocked

PUBLICITY AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS AGREEMENT:

Designers retain full ownership of any design they submit to this competition. By submitting, designers grant the competition organizers a limited, non-exclusive license to use submitted images and materials solely for educational and non-profit purposes. The organizers will always credit submitted work to the designer by name in any publication, whether digital or print.
