The Academy at Westmoreland Cultural Trust is thrilled to launch the inaugural All-Star High School Musical, a countywide performance and production opportunity bringing student artists, musicians and technicians in grades 9-12 together from 19 school districts, as well as homeschool and cyber school students throughout Westmoreland County.
For our first production, students will come together to present The Hunchback of Notre Dame on the historic stage of The Palace Theatre in Downtown Greensburg.
Rehearsals will take place in the professional rehearsal spaces at Seton Hill University as well as on stage at The Palace Theatre, giving students the opportunity to train, rehearse and create in professional artistic environments.

Eligibility
Participation in this project is open to students in grades 9 through 12, ages 13 through 19, who reside in Westmoreland County or a surrounding county. Students attending traditional public or private schools, cyber schools and homeschool programs are welcome to audition/interview.
Students may use this form to sign up for one of the following audition or interview opportunities:
Onstage Performer
Students may audition to be considered for an onstage performance role in the production (principal roles, speaking/singing roles, ensemble roles)
Pit Musician
Student musicians may audition to be considered for our side-by-side pit musician opportunity with the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra.
Creative and Technical Team Positions
Students may interview to be considered for the following creative and technical roles:
- Assistant Director
- Assistant Choreographer
- Assistant Music Director
- Assistant Stage Manager
- Assistant Company Manager
- Lighting Crew
- Deck Crew / Run Crew
- Sound Crew
*Please note that students may not participate as both an onstage performer and a member of the creative or technical team. Students interested in creative and technical positions must be prepared to focus on their assigned responsibilities behind the table, backstage or in production areas rather than appearing onstage.
Submitting this form does not guarantee placement in the production. It allows Westmoreland Cultural Trust to collect student interest and share audition, interview and program information with students and families as details become available.
