I, {name} (the participant, agreeing to these terms by reserving, purchasing, and/or participating in a tour or cruise), acknowledge that I am physically and mentally capable of fully participating in this activity. I am aware that all tours and cruises involve inherent dangers and risks, some of which may include: physical exertion for which I may not be prepared, weather extremes including sudden and unexpected changes, unfamiliar environments, and various modes of travel. I accept all inherent risks associated with the proposed tour or cruise, including the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage, and/or loss resulting therefrom.
I acknowledge that the enjoyment and excitement of these activities are derived in part from these inherent risks, which extend beyond the accepted safety of life at home or work, and that these risks contribute to my decision to participate.
I agree that if I suffer injury or illness, Discover Church, its staff, or any affiliated local operators may, at my sole cost, arrange medical treatment and emergency evacuation services as deemed necessary for my health and safety. I understand that Discover Church will not be responsible for any medical costs associated with injuries I may sustain. I also accept responsibility for any damage I cause to others or their property during the tour or cruise.
I hereby waive any and all claims I may have now or in the future, and release from all liability and agree not to sue Discover Church, its officers, agents, representatives, employees, tour guides, or affiliated local operators for any personal injury, death, property damage, or loss sustained by me as a result of my participation in the tour or cruise, due to any cause whatsoever, including without limitation, my own negligence, or incidents arising from war, civil unrest, or epidemics.
Further, I agree to abide by and comply with all instructions provided by tour guides, staff, or representatives of Discover Church during the tour or cruise. I accept that non-compliance may result in injury, death, or permanent disability, and may lead to my removal from the activity at the discretion of Discover Church or its representatives, without refund or compensation. As a participant, I accept full responsibility for my behavior, well-being, and health throughout the tour or cruise, which may involve diverse activities, unfamiliar locations, and multiple modes of travel. I agree to hold neither Discover Church nor its staff liable in any way should any harm come to me. I further agree that I am solely responsible for removing myself from participation if, at any time, I feel unable to continue or participate safely.
In agreeing to this Waiver and Release, I confirm that I am not relying on any oral, written, or visual representations or statements by Discover Church, its staff, or affiliates, nor any inducement or coercion, to participate in the tour or cruise.
I confirm that, of my own free will, I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of this tour or cruise and this Waiver.
I agree to grant Discover Church a worldwide, royalty-free license to use my photographic, video, or digital likeness solely for promotional, educational, and/or commercial purposes.
