Wizard of Oz Audition Workshop Registration

Getting ready to audition for The Wizard of Oz? Whether it's your very first audition or you just want to feel more confident before stepping into the room, this workshop is the perfect place to start! Students will learn the fundamentals of a successful musical theatre audition, including vocal warm-ups, audition etiquette, how to present themselves with confidence, and tips for making a strong first impression. Participants will also receive guidance on performing their audition material, taking direction, and managing those pre-audition nerves in a fun, supportive environment. Throughout the workshop, each student will work with the instructor to select and prepare an audition song that best showcases their voice. By the end of the class, students will leave with a polished audition song, properly formatted and printed sheet music ready for the accompanist, and the confidence to walk into their Wizard of Oz audition prepared for success. No previous audition experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. We'll help you find the courage, heart, and confidence to shine at your audition!
