Welcome to F.I.R.S.T Ladies. We are honored that your family is planning to join our community of intentional mentorship. The mission of F.I.R.S.T Ladies is to train and equip girls around the world to be positive global change agents; and to dominate in the ten strategic cultures of the nations of the world with strength and dignity. We envision F.I.R.S.T Ladies to be a safe place for girls to not only discover purpose but to also build confidence, character, and leadership through mentorship, education, and transformative experiences. For 17 years, First Ladies has been committed to mentoring girls in grades 6-12 for a period of 21- consecutive weeks during the school year. Our 12 pillars of focus are: (1) Purpose/Identity Development/Mental Health, (2) Mentorship, (3) Leadership, (4) High School Readiness, (5) College Readiness, (6) Career Readiness, (7) Building Healthy Families, (8) Building Sisterhood, (9) Etiquette, (10) Financial Literacy, (11) Community Service and (12) Entrepreneurship. Application Fee Payment

Fee is due by August 1 for Current F.I.R.S.t Ladies families and by August 22 for new applicants.

Please submit the $65 application fee using the link below. The application fee is applied to the annual dues for those students. See link for further details.

First Ladies Annual Dues go towards the Annual Launch, Induction Ceremony, Student Birthday Celebrations, or the End of Year Scholarship Awards Banquet. Additional Details Made Available During the Program.

Sponsorships are available but parents must communicate via email at imentor@firstladiesyouthleadershipfdn.org before August 21. Sponsorships are limited and are on a first come first served basis (once the need is established). No child will be turned away because of financial hardship.

Student Application/Essay/Voice Recording/Photo

Grades 6-12 students are responsible for completing the student application by the deadline. The application process is a part of the First Ladies college readiness pillar and is a glimpse into a college common application process. It is also a way to see if First Ladies is a good match for a family. It is intended to be a learning process for scholarship applications, work-based learning opportunities and college admittance.

Grades/Discipline Report

The parent or child can submit these reports. Grade 6 students with no discipline report can upload a blank page with the words "No Discipline Report" on the form. Reports must be submitted before the Interview Day.

Recommendation Forms

One Community Leader form + Teacher (Core Classes) Recommendations forms - Math, Science, English - must be submitted by new applicants. Current applicants only need to submit teacher recommendation forms.

Virtual Interview Day Information
Virtual Interview Days are scheduled for August 29 and September 12. You will receive a confirmation email or call with further instructions after your application is processed closer to the Interview Day. Interview time slots are first come, first served, so be sure that the following forms are submitted successfully: student application, parent application, recommendation forms and the application fee.

Limited partial sponsorships are available. Applications must be received at least 1 week prior to the Interview Day. Inquire for details by emailing imentor@firstladiesyouthleadershipfdn.org.
