How we will use your information
We use photographs, videos, quotes and stories to tell people about the work that we do, the lives of those we work with and learning that we gain. Our aim is to inform people about the issues related to poverty in the UK and to inspire people to adopt our approach.
Your picture, film, quote or story may be used by the Poverty Truth Network (PTN) on the internet, including our website and social media, in the press (newspapers, radio, TV) and in our resources for up to 3 years. Your details will be stored securely on our internal system and reviewed after 3 years, after which time we will be in touch to renew your consent.
We may share your story with trusted partner organisations, funders and the media to promote our work and the issues we work on together. If we plan to share your story with the media, we will contact you first and offer support if interviews are involved.
We will endeavour to keep all the information you give us about yourself safe and secure on our organisation’s internal systems (password protected). If your identity needs to be protected for any reason, we will do everything that we can to protect it.
