Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Youth Art Design Contest!
This is your opportunity to create an original design that celebrates HOPE's mission and the impact of our programs. The winning artwork will be professionally produced on official appreciation gifts for HOPE's 2026 Alumnae Fundraising Challenge and shared with supporters across our community. We can't wait to see your creativity come to life!
Eligibility
To participate, you must be a current college student and an alumna of either the HOPE Youth Leadership Program (HYLP) or the HOPE College Leadership Program (HCLP). Participants may submit one original design created without the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and must certify that their submission is their own original work and does not infringe on any copyrighted material. The contest opens on July 17, 2026, and all submissions must be received by August 14, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT. For complete contest details, including eligibility, design requirements, branding guidelines, prizes, and FAQs, please visit latinas.org/ArtContest before submitting your entry.
Contest Theme
Create an original design inspired by the theme Leading with Purpose. Use your voice, values, culture, education, and experience to create positive change. Through the Latina lens, reflect on what purposeful leadership looks like to you as a HOPE alumna and as part of a larger community of leaders. Your design should celebrate the strength, resilience, and collective impact of leaders working to create lasting change.
Design Guidelines
Please ensure your design aligns with HOPE's brand guidelines. Use only HOPE's official logo without altering it in any way, and whenever possible, incorporate HOPE's official brand colors: Dark Purple (#342856), Light Purple (#C8B3EE), Teal (#179B9E), Orange (#FF604A), and Yellow (#F8CF40). Your design should reflect HOPE's values of leadership, community, growth, opportunity, and collaboration while using clean, legible typography. All artwork must be your original creation, and designs created using Artificial Intelligence (AI) are not permitted.
Prize
The winning artist will have their artwork featured on official HOPE appreciation gifts and be recognized across HOPE's 2026 Alumnae Challenge website, email communications, and social media channels. The artist will also receive recognition as the featured artist, where appropriate, and receive the first printed item showcasing their winning design. Lastly, the artist will receive a $100 gift card to Amazon.
