  • There will be a bible bookmark for you at the beginning of each instruction hour. Classes of Instruction will be 50 minutes in length. The instruction hour that each student is assigned to will be determined by skill level and # of students enrolling.

  • All classes take place at The Salvation Army of Clay County, 2795 CR 220, Middleburg, FL
  • COVID 19

  • Currently, masks are optional while inside our facility due to the current Covid situation in our area. This is in place for the safety of both staff and students. This may change according to the Covid situation in the future.

  • Instruments

  • -Limited quantities of instruments (guitars) are available to use for those in need of them.


    -Students are encouraged to use their personal instruments.

    -Have a backup instrument plan in the event we use all of our supplies


    -Piano students have access to our piano lab during instruction but will not be permitted to take the pianos home. They MUST have access to a piano or keyboard at home to practice.


    *An Instrument Loan Agreement will be provided to and must be signed by a parent/guardian before any instruments are given to the students.

    $300 per year


    If a student would like to take more than one class and there are no conflicts, the cost is an additional $300 per class per student.

  • *The full sum for the year must be paid by November 19, 2026. If a payment plan is arranged, payments must be received as agreed upon in order for your student not to have an interruption in instruction.

  • *Refunds may be requested for students who choose not to continue in the program up to 2 weeks from the start of the program. However, after the 2 weeks you will be responsible for the FULL YEAR cost ifthe student is withdrawn or dismissed from enrollment.

  • Additionally, registration for new students will remain open up to 2 weeks from the start of the program as enrollment permits.

  • Dates

    • August 18, 2026 - May 6, 2027
    • No Classes: November 24, 2027 - January 1, 2027 & March 23, 2027
    • May 6, 2027 - Final Performance (subject to change due to any class cancellations)
  • Attendance Policy

    • Students should arrive no later than 5 minutes before & no earlier than 15 minutes to the start of their respective class.
    • Frequent tardiness may be grounds for dismissal from the Program as it proves disruptive to the flow and effectiveness of instruction.
    • Students will be allowed 3 unexcused absences (Unexcused Absences are defined as any absence in which we are not notified prior to or immediately following Tuesday Classes with the exception of family or medical emergencies)
    • After the 3rd unexcused absence, students may be dismissed from enrollment without refund.
    • Please make every effort to inform us in advance of your student's absence via phone or e-mail so that proper preparations may be made.
  • Classroom Experience

    • Students are required to bring all materials/instruments to class every week.
    • Students are required to practice at home the lessons that have been given to them.
    • Failure to do bring their materials/instruments may result in their inability to participate in the instruction for the evening as we may not have enough instruments to accommodate every student.

    • If the student withdraws or is dismissed from the School of Performing Arts after 2 weeks of the program beginning, you will be responsible for the payment of the FULL TUITION for the year

  • The cost of SPA is $300 per student for this instruction year. If additional instruction for another instrument/class wants to be taken and there are no conflicts, the cost is an additional $300 per student per instruction year. I understand that a minimum $150 deposit per student is due upon enrolling. Students WILL NOT have reserved enrollment slots if no deposit has been made.

I understand that important of attendance and will do my best to assure that I will be in attendance to my class instruction as much as possible and will notify the School of Performing Arts as soon as possible if I will be absent for my assigned instruction time.
