APC Drug Shortage Compounding Survey 2025-2026

APC is hearing that the SAFE Drugs Act (H.R. 6509 /S. 3794) may soon receive consideration in the U.S. Senate. If the bill advances, lawmakers need to understand that compounding pharmacies don’t just respond to GLP-1 shortages – they have long helped patients access a wide range of medications during FDA-recognized shortages. This survey will help us quantify that impact and strengthen our advocacy efforts.
