• Et Al Gallery - Favourites 2026 Expression of Interest Form

  • This form is to register your interest in the Favourites Exhibition at Et Al Gallery and Studio for December 2026.

“Raindrops on Roses and Whiskers on Kitten, Bright Copper Kettles and warm woollen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with string, these are a few of my favourite things…”

Think of all those things, moments, people and places that make you want to return to them over and over again. Is it your favourite foods? Is it the Shorncliffe jetty at dawn? Is it Christmas with your family? Is it your own artwork? Is it Favourites Chocolates? Is it raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens?

Whatever it is this Christmas we want to see ALL your favourite things, so they become OUR favourite things.

     SUBMISSION AND CURATORIAL DECISIONS:

You may submit up to THREE pieces of original wall hung or plinthed artwork and up to THREE types of merchandise.

Please note: You may submit UP TO three pieces does not mean you MUST submit three pieces. It just means that three is the maximum you can submit for this exhibition. As this is our Christmas exhibition we will be rotating the exhibition stock, so not all artworks will feature on the wall or on plinths at all times. As pieces sell or as we refresh the exhibition week to week, we will replace artworks on the walls with ones from the stockroom. All artists will have a minimum of 1 piece on the wall or plinths at all times.

Pieces are to be no larger than 800mm wide (for portrait or landscape orientation) but can be up to 1200mm high (this is inclusive of frames). All works on paper must be presented framed and under glass for their own protection with the correct hanging equipment attached. Framing of paintings is left to the discretion of the artist, but the edges of the painting must be finished to Gallery presentation standards and the correct hanging equipment attached to the artworks.

    Merchandise:

You may submit up to THREE types of merchandise. For example, you may have 25 x A5 (traditional) prints at $55 each, 50 x postcards at $12.50each AND 50 stickers at $5 each.  Or you may have 5  x large ceramic pieces (up to 30cm in diameter) at $85, 10 x medium ceramic pieces (up to 20cm in diameter) at $55 each and 8 x small ceramic pieces at $25 each. This means that you are allowed THREE price points for your small artworks and/or merchandise, but you can have as much quantity at each price point as you like.

We encourage you to consider Christmas themed merchandise for this exhibition (eg. Christmas ornaments, cards, etc.) Not all merchandise will be on display at any time. We keep some out the back to replenish and rotate Gallery displays as they sell. All merchandise must be drawn works or prints, cards, etc. that are a direct result of the Artists original artworks.

We reserve the right to turn away or not display artworks or merchandise that is not presented correctly, is deemed to not meet Gallery standards (this includes hanging hardware and correct packaging and labelling for merchandise), or is not in keeping with the theme of the exhibition.
