About the Event

Born and built in Scranton, The Scranton Punk Rock Flea Market is Northeastern Pennsylvania's premier curation of underground art, alternative culture, independent music, and DIY ethos. Beginning in 2011 as The Scranton Zine Fest with a focus on fanzines and other radical publications, The Scranton Punk Rock Flea Market has grown into the region's largest and longest independently-run markets in the Electric City scene. The event unifies artists, makers, zinesters, collectors, social advocacy organizations and small businesses from our local Northeast Pennsylvania area, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and tri-state area.

• Artist-First & Accessible. We work hard to keep vendor fees affordable while giving you the freedom to make your space your own. Each indoor booth measures approximately 10 ft in width by 5 ft in depth (roughly the size of an 8 ft table to fit at least), giving you room to create a setup that reflects your personality, not just another table in a row. Additionally, if you have trouble securing the vendor fee, just email us to set up a payment plan.
  
  
• An Audience that Shows Up for Independent Creators. Our attendees come specifically to discover original artwork, handmade goods, vintage finds, records, VHS, zines, and one-of-a-kind treasures. They value meeting the people behind the work and supporting the local scene.
  
  
• We Invest in Our Vendors. Every accepted vendor becomes part of our event story. We feature vendors across our social media, encourage attendees to shop directly with you, and celebrate the people who make the market what it is, not just on event day, but throughout the weeks leading up to it.
  
  
• More Than a Marketplace. With live bands, DJs, and creative programming throughout the day, the market becomes a celebration of underground art and music designed to spark conversation, new collaborations, and the kind of discoveries you don't make online.

Who We're Looking For

Artists, makers, collectors, zinesters, and DIY small businesses are encouraged to apply.

Spooky, strange, and macabre wares are especially welcome for this Halloween edition—think horror art, oddities, taxidermy, vintage Halloween, occult and witchy goods, dark apparel, and anything that fits the season. That said, you don't have to be spooky to vend; if your work fits the punk rock spirit, we want you here. 

We’re looking for vendors who:

• Embrace the DIY Mindset and Ethic. You make, curate, or hustle your own thing. Punk, hardcore, zine culture, and underground art built this event, and vendors who come from (and genuinely respect) that culture will feel right at home.
  
  
• Create Original, Handmade, or Thoughtfully-Curated Work. This includes handmade art, prints, and apparel; zines and small-press publications; records, tapes, and music memorabilia; vintage and secondhand clothing; oddities and curiosities; patches, pins, and jewelry; and well-curated collections with a point of view. No mass-produced resale, MLM products, or drop-shipped merchandise. If you didn't make it, find it, or curate it with intention, it's not a fit.
  
  
• Respect Community Spaces and Fellow Vendors. That means arriving on time for load-in, staying within your assigned space, keeping your area clean, breaking down at the posted time (no early pack-ups unless absolutely neccessary), and treating fellow vendors, volunteers, and attendees with basic decency. We are a community event first. This means no racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, hate symbols on merchandise or otherwise.
  
  
• Maintain an Active Social Media Presence. We review every application, and your social media, website, or shop link is how we get to know what you do. Make sure the links you submit show current work and clear photos of what you plan to sell. Bonus points if you help promote the event! We all win when we hype each other up.

What Will I Find There?

Expect a wide mix of thoughtfully-made and carefully-curated work from vendors across NEPA and beyond, including but not limited to:

 

• Original Art & Wares. Artwork straight from the hands of local and regional makers — prints, paintings, illustrations, photography, collage and mixed media, screen-printed shirts and patches, stickers, pins and buttons, handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, and other one-of-a-kind pieces made to be seen, worn, and kept.
  
  
• Vintage & Thrifted Finds. Secondhand clothing, band tees, denim and leather, vinyl, cassettes, CDs, VHS tapes, show flyers, posters, and other pre-loved pieces dug from the closets, crates, and basements of a past life.
  
  
• Retro Pop Culture & Collectibles. Vintage toys and games, video games and consoles, horror and cult film memorabilia, trading cards, comics, novelty items, and nostalgia excavated from the weirder, darker corners of the twentieth century.
  
  
• Oddities & Curiosities. Ethically-sourced taxidermy, bone jewelry, wet specimens, antique medical and occult relics, crystals, tarot and divination goods, funeral and mourning antiques (better known to us as the beautifully strange and the strangely beautiful part of the flea market).
  
  
• Zines & Independent Publishing. Self-published zines, small-press artist books, indie photo publications, poetry chapbooks, underground comix, riso and xerox prints, and other DIY ephemera keeping the press alive.

About your Vendor Space

Please read the following carefully:

• This event is held rain-or-shine (unless severe), so please judge your participation accordingly. The event is in-person, indoors, in a carpeted room. 
  
  

• We thoughtfully curate each market to ensure a great mix of vendors, considering factors like originality, craftsmanship, product variety, and social media presence and promotion. No matter the outcome, you'll receive an email letting you know if you've been accepted, placed on the waitlist, or not selected.
  
  

• You are required to bring your own table(s), shelving, clothing racks, and/or any other furnishings to create your vendor space. Padded chairs are available free to you at the venue. If you are unable to bring your own tables or would prefer not to pack them, you may rent 8ft tables from us at cost.
  
  

• Each vendor space is approximately 10 ft in width by 5 ft in depth (roughly the size of an 8 ft table to fit at least). Vendor placement is not exact; we will align vendors accordingly on a first-come, first serve, basis. Our spacing is fluid and forgiving to alow for irregularity and creativity within everyone's table setup. Please note you may be asked to alter your space to best fit you and your neighbors. 
  
  
• We can comfortably fit 80 vendor spots within the interior of the venue and hallway. Because space is limited, not every application can be accepted and a waiting list is created once capacity is reached. Spaces near outlets are limited and cost extra for reserved placement. Please see add-ons at the end of the application to determine your needs.
  
  

• Payment for your spot ($70) must be recieved in a week (7 days from the time of acceptance email), or we will notify you that you must move you to our waiting list. No refunds are given once payment for vendor space (and any add-ons) is made.

• Event Date. The Scranton Punk Rock Flea Market (the "Event") will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
  
  
• Rain or Shine. The Event will take place rain or shine. Vendor is solely responsible for assessing whether weather conditions are suitable for Vendor's attendance and for the protection of Vendor's booth, merchandise, and equipment.
  
  
• Vendor Property. Vendor is solely responsible for the security, supervision, transportation, setup, breakdown, and removal of all merchandise, equipment, displays, and personal belongings brought to the Event.
  
  
• Assumption of Risk; Release of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vendor releases and holds harmless the Event, its organizers, volunteers, venue partners, sponsors, and affiliates (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising out of or relating to Vendor's participation in the Event, including but not limited to theft, loss, property damage, vandalism, and personal injury. Nothing in this section waives liability that cannot be waived under applicable law. The Released Parties make no representations or guarantees regarding Vendor's sales, revenue, or profitability, and shall bear no responsibility for Vendor's commercial success or lack thereof.
  
  
• Insurance. Vendor is solely responsible for obtaining any insurance coverage Vendor deems necessary or appropriate for Vendor's business, merchandise, equipment, and personal property. The Event does not provide insurance coverage of any kind to vendors.
  
  
• Electronic Communications. Vendor agrees to provide a valid email address that Vendor monitors regularly. Official Event communications will be delivered electronically, and Vendor's failure to receive or review such communications shall not relieve Vendor of any obligation under these Terms & Conditions.
  
  
• Application Review. Vendor acknowledges that an active social media presence with current, working links is a component of the application review process and may be required for consideration.
  
  
• Promotional License. Vendor grants the Event a non-exclusive license to use photographs of Vendor's products, business name, logo, and publicly available promotional images to advertise and promote the Event before, during, and after the Event. Vendor further grants the Event permission to use photographs and video recorded at the Event that may include Vendor, Vendor's booth, or Vendor's merchandise for promotional, marketing, editorial, and archival purposes, without additional compensation or prior approval.
  
  
• Curated Selection. Vendor acknowledges that acceptance is determined through a curated selection process intended to maintain a diverse, balanced, and high-quality marketplace. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
  
  
• Fees; No Refunds. All vendor fees are non-refundable once payment has been submitted, including in the event of Vendor cancellation, inclement weather, or removal for violation of these Terms & Conditions.
  
  
• Compliance; Removal. Vendor agrees to comply with all Event rules, venue policies, safety requirements, and reasonable instructions of Event organizers and staff. Failure to comply may result in Vendor's removal from the Event without refund.
  
  
• Acknowledgment. By submitting this application, Vendor acknowledges that Vendor has read, understands, and agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
